According to me, the best way to be happy through out your life is to keep your expectations to the minimal level. Only then all things happening around will be a unexpected surprise and it will bring out happiness in you....

The much awaited night

The much awaited night

July 22^nd night, the night for which three different attitude guys strived for. Sajjad, Srini and myself had our much needed night stay in our favorite hangout place, Srini’s house, I always had a doubt whether anyone in our gang will enjoy any resort stay better than Srini’s house stay. And as usual the night was packed with lots and lots of excitement, drinks and laughs.

Any party has to start with a glass of wine, isn’t it?

We started the hangout in Srin mama’s place and went to Srini’s Favorite place, Esthel. As usual our gang leader, Srini, started to have vodka with orange juice, what a deadly combination and taste he has, while our drunker Saju, started with typical whisky and sprite…. I had three different mock tails, but all tasted the same J

As the number of rounds went on, we started to have lot of emotional dialogue, which is obvious, since we are meeting after long time. And as the time went on.. Saju and myself teased our mama by crossing his personal limits. And we had lots of disclosers from our man Saju, which was typical Saju’s style J.

Who said the liquid in the glass is the only liquid which gives the enjoyment?

Then, as I requested, we went to Besi beach, man it was the best place to be at night 12AM, the best place to do romance or whatever you want to do… while Saju and myself was enjoying the occasion, Srini mama was more worried about the cops J, but still he went on to have two cigarettes and enjoyed the movement.

Midnight Dosa!!

You should have heard about midnight masala but here you have a midnight dosa

The time was 12:30 and it was time for us to have dinner, we had hot dosas in a small shop. It was great to see a dosa shop opened at that time too, in that mid night too we waited for fifteen minutes to get a dosa, so was the crowd in that shop. After the dinner we went back to Srini’s home, on the way we searched for cigarettes but in vain. The tip of the iceberg topic was Sajjad’s fear to get married. Our great experienced mama explained what is what to Sajjad, I was just observing the things unfolding in front of me and enjoying it.

Can I have one more beg, please?

Enjoyment, drinks, beach, teasing, love, emotions and what not, everything was running high and it made the evening as a pleasant one and converted to a sweet memory. Now that all of our gang member are going to get married soon, I, who will be the only person who will be single at least for another year or two, do not know whether I will ever get a chance like this to have a night stay? Well I seriously doubt, the chances are very less. I just wish and pray god to give me at least one chance, in a year or two, to have a good night stay, like this, with the entire gang. Until I get my next beg, night stay, it is me, Anguz, signing off!!

Are we in the mid of changing India?

 

Ever since the new Indian government sworn in, I, as a normal Indian, could see a notable difference in the way this government is taking forward its activities. Normally when a new government sworn in, we see a bunch of ministers take different positions; the allies that have good numbers take away the better positions and then the ministers takes position in front of media and then the story ends there. We won’t be having much inputs after that nor from the ministers or from the PMO regarding any sort of notable progress or targets set to achieve.  We the people also get along with this without doing much. End of the five year term we would have seen one or two notable move by the government in the each sector.

 

Unusually this time we are seeing some different and unbelievable pictures. How often we have seen a government allocating correct and reputed person for each industry? How often we have seen a government rejecting people who have not performed well in they previous term? How often we have seen a government which has clear targets for each sector? How often we have seen a government setting a 100 days target and trying to achieve it? Well we are seeing all this unfolding in front of us for the past few days. For once we are getting good signals from the government for a major reform. These signals clearing shows a clear sign of changing and gigantic India. Hope this signals strengthen further and transforms into good energy and empower every Indian citizen and make India a better country to live in.

If I were the Prime minister

If I were the Prime Minister…..

 

In this article I would like to highlight some point which I will do if I were the prime minister of this country….

 

è     Classification of people based on caste system will be scrapped. Most of the confusions and misuse of power and regulation happens because of this caste based system. I will introduce a new system which will classify people based on their economy status, education e.t.c., this system will evaluate each and every family and will rate them accordingly.

 

è     All reservations in the post graduate courses will be sleeved. Every state will have an IIT, IIM, NIT & a state based central university. This will ease the supply and demand condition for quality educations.

 

è     Any reservation, if needed, will be based on new classification scheme and not on caste system.

 

è     Enhance the quality of universities by giving world class level facilities.

 

è     Good rewards scheme to enhance the interest among lectures and professor to excel in their areas.

 

è     Number of Kendra vidhyala schools will be increased in urban and semi urban areas. In village, taluk and town areas a new model schools will be introduced. These schools will enhance the quality of the students in these areas.

 

è     Good rewards for the corporate which invests in education.

 

è     All state capitals will be connected with express highways.

 

è     All major ports and airports will be enhanced to world class standards.

 

è     Bank lending rates will be reduced.

 

è     All slums inside the cities will be removed and new low cost houses will be allocated to the slum people.

 

è     All rivers will be connected which will be done in different stages.

 

è     Health and sanitary system will be improved, steps to be taken to achieve 1 doctor for every 200 people in the country.

 

è     Electricity, hospital and schools and economic center will be made available for every village.

 

è     All individual will be given electronic identity card cum finance card, using which the person can attach his bank account to it and do all transactions. Any transactions which costs over and above 9999 have to be made via this card. This will reduce the corruption.

 

è     Right to information act will be strengthen further to give access to most of the government related activities.

 

è     All major transactions, tenders, bill payments, government allocations will be done in electronic mode. This will reduce the corruption and also this project will be handled by government owned IT companies, thus increasing the jobs.

 

è     Instead of dividing India into four major regions like north south, west & east the country will be divided into further regions to ease the facilities available across country men in ease.

 

è     Taxes for the corporate which invests in social wellness will be reduced.

 

è     Excise duty for basic ammonites will be reduced. Economic reform to allow more FDI will be done.

 

è     Up gradation of small scale industries to medium sized and medium sized to large scale will encouraged.

 

è     Right to have a job at least 100 days a year for all citizen over 18 years will be made mandatory.

 

è     Micro economics for each and every district will be activated.

 

è     Amount of money spent by the party or others for a candidate standing in a election will be limited and monitored.

 

è     E-waste and global warming factors will be keen importance.

 

 

 

These are the few things which I could think of at the movement.. will be adding more if I get some….

 

I am not sure whether all the activities listed above are practically possible or will aid any result on implementation, but these things will definitely change the way we look the system….

India's Yes We can!!

The D-day:

 

20^th January 2008, the day, which created history, excited the world and cautioned the rise of one man, Barack Obama. Yes! It was a day, when Obama changed his title from US president elect to US president, the day on which people around the world gathered in Washington to climbs the unfolding history.

 

Unlike India’s political gathering, this gathering was filled with not only with the party worker but also with common people, who were from different longitude and latitude of the world. The people were enthralled, as if all their worries are going to be sorted out immediately. This showed the confidence the people had on their president elect. People enjoyed as if the king is out there to make their life fill with glory. People around the world celebrated as if it is rise of new glorious era, in this recession period. Best example is all national news channels in India, a country which is not much affected nor least affected by the US president chance, telecasted the entire evening celebrations live and the TRP of this program was all time high. These events resembled to the rise of King Alexander.

 

Isn’t it high time for Indian version of Yes we can?

 

I wonder when India will get a day like this. A day on which we Indians can be proud of our prime minister, politicians & system. At this moment the chances are less. If there is any Indian, who can create a charisma like Obama did then it has to be our people’s president, Abdul Kalam. But the chances of he contesting an election is almost negligible. And I don’t see any other person who can be like him in near future. I doubt even in so called India’s year, 2020, we will have a person like that. This leaves us with only one thing, a collective change from politicians to people.

 

“The NOs to YES! we can”

 

Who should be blamed for this status of India? The Politicians or the system or we the people? I would say it is a combination of all. How many of we really exercised our voting power properly to elect a good person?

 

The people’s No

 

Many consider the day as an extra holiday and continue to blame the government. Even if we vote, we won’t vote for a new and educated people, we will still vote for a tainted politician. Why we are not ready to give a chance to new educated and potential candidates?. So fault of we registering only 55 % of turnout and not selecting a proper person is one of the main reason for it.

 

The system’s No

 

Next comes our system, our system is designed in such a way that a person having 100s of backlog criminal cases can contest to any highest post in India, which by itself is contradicting to what we want, need for a great leader.   Our system is also designed with our local communal forces, unions which will always work the way it wanted rather than what the country needs. For example unnecessary strikes and low productivity. Corruption, lack of good mangers and reservations are the major contributor to what we are now.

 

 

 

 

A big no from politician.

 

Next comes our politicians, best example is we have a prime minister candidate of a national party, who declares that his election campaign is more important than visiting Mumbai during the worst terror attack of India. As long as we have people like this, what else we can expect from them? When entire world is looking for youth our top post candidates are always 75+. And next is rise of small politicians, who use useless issues like caste, communalism to gain points. For them Tamil is more important than India as a whole, small land in Bengal is more important than globalisation of India. Examples are Gujjar issue, LTTE issue, protest for Tata nano factory. Supporting communalism is more important for some than the much needed nuclear deal. Building a hindu temple is more important than the building good infrastructure. When a person who sold India for his person need (in sports) can become important face of a national party, what else we say about our politicians?

 

Yes, We can!!!                      

 

All this has to be changed, I know it will take time but then it has to begin, seeds for a banyan tree has to be laid with a small effort but it also needs continuous efforts to grow it. We cannot simply sit back and continue to seek for person growth after raising slogans like “Enough is Enough”. All the aforementioned things will change only if we change, only if we can everything will change… as we said “Enough is Enough “is not only for the politicians it is also for us.. let us change and make a prosperous India and make the entire world look at us and feel jealous as we did at USA.

 

Be the change you wanted to be….. and yes we can change all these in India. Yes we can!!

Hand vs Lotus Vs mixture

Exactly 18 days from today, world's largest democorcy is going to polls. Unlike last election, this election is having a triangular competetion, in which all three has equal advantage and disadvantage. In this post, let me try and figure out some of the pros and corns of them. Before jumping into the topic, I just want to make some genralized point on this election and here are they. 

Positivie points: 

Unlike any other elections this election has

-> Major campign by various NGOs and individuals seeking common man to vote.

-> Elections campaingn switched from road to internet.

-> More emphasis on youth.

-> Some clear cut message on India's growth is avaliable in each of the major party's mainfesto.

Negative points:

Like any other elections, this election also has

-> Caste and commmunal based campaign

-> Change of coaliation by parties for money and mere politics.

-> Lot of party's candidate continue to have maximum criminal records.

-> Money for vote still continues.

Now as I said before, let me run through all major parties pros and corns.

Let us start with the national flower:

 

BJP led NDA.

Pros:

 -> Good campaign technique, they have quickly adapted to modern world, by giving ads in almost all top sites that we indians access.

-> Manifesto of BJP is in detail, which explains what the party will do in each sector, but will they do it?.

-> Narendar Modi's vibrant gujarat is major boast as it is projected as key factor.

-> Has very good leaders like Advani,Arun, Modi, Jaswant e.t.c

-> Have clear advantage in most of the northern states of india 

-> All the coailation has the capacity to win seats in election.

-> Anyone who is not happy with the current govt will obivosly select NDA.

Corns:

-> Following Hinduthuva.

-> Split in high profile leaders.

-> In Tamilnadu (40),Kerala(20),AP(42),UP(80) BJP does not have good presence nor a good coialiation to win seats, which means NDA is contesting in mere 400+ seats and not 543.

->Unneccesary points by some of the party members like Varun's.

Next let me keep my hand on the hand.

Pros:

-> Have better leaders and economist like Manmohan, FM etc.,

-> The govt has done some good work, it depends on how they are going to project it.

-> Have lot of young leaders, who can deliver.

Crons:

-> Have lost few important alies like Lallu, PMK.

-> In general people have bad opinion about the current government.

-> Does not have a strong Mainfesto.

-> Does not have a better campaign statergy.

Next on the mixture...

Pros 

-> Lot of small party.

-> Being a alternative for BJP and Congress.

Crons:

-> Too many party with no common goal  

-> Too many big player.

-> Many high class voter dont support LEFT.

On the whole, my wish is, be it NDA & UPA the progress will be kind of ok, but dont want to give my future to a coaliation, which has parties that opposed important deals like nuclear deal, a deal which is so important to India.
